Welcome to Beccles Community Choir… a fun and friendly group set up in 2011 to promote singing and music as something that is enjoyable, inclusive and accessible to everybody and to explore the positive health benefits of singing together.
Our sessions are friendly and informal and we sing all styles and genres of music, including; Musicals, Pop, Soul, Folk, Gospel, Reggae, Disney, Jazz, Rock and Country as well as World repertoire and Festive/Christmas songs.
We are based in the charming and peaceful market town of Beccles, full of independent shops and winding streets and we meet at the Waveney Centre which offers stunning views over the river Waveney.
Beccles Community Choir is suitable for absolute beginners or more advanced singers. New members are always welcome – no experience is necessary and all ages and any abilities are welcome.

Beccles Community Choir are delighted to announce a special Christmas concert at The Waveney Centre in Beccles on Sunday 1st December, where they will be joined by special guests, Bungay Community Choir and local singer Vanessa Hembling who is also an ex-member of the choir. ![]()

‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ is a concert which promises an evening of musical delight, featuring a repertoire of well-known and enjoyable Christmas songs across various genres and styles. Along with their guests, the choir will perform a diverse selection of festive music, including popular nostalgic Christmas tunes, Holiday classics from the big band era, and Christmas singles from the 1950s and 1980s and beyond.![]()
